Therapy is a Creative, Collaborative Process.

I believe transformation does not just happen to us, it requires we imagine something new, let go of something old, have the courage to feel and experiment with new ways of being. Curiosity, compassion, and savoring are some of the skills we will practice together to support you in making lasting change, and experience more meaningful connections, joy and ease in recognizing and moving through different emotions.

The Art of Healing

My practice is made up of individuals and couples who are seeking support for emotional regulation, deeper connections with themselves and those around them, and an understanding of how their past has influenced their present. They are people with a willingness to get to know how their emotions inhabit their bodies. Befriending physical sensations, listening to the body’s wisdom is often a profound part of healing. When we notice where we feel our emotions in our body, we can tune into those physical places and bring ease, moving between tension and relaxation.  This allows the body to slowly shift to a state of homeostasis, without feeling overwhelmed.

Therapy is less about the diagnosis and more about the desires and goals of each client.  Even in the darkest moments, sessions can be transporting, affirming and hopeful.

Regardless of how you view therapy, or if you’re hesitant to begin, all you need to be a part of this healing relationship is a willingness to try something new.

I have a Masters in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of New Mexico. I completed Certification in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy through The Embody Lab in 2022 and am currently pursuing my AASECT certification with Sexual Health Alliance to become a licensed Sex Therapist. I bring hope, authenticity, enthusiasm and a positive approach to our work together.

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if I can let them be… When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, “Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner”… I don’t try to control a sunset.

I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
