Let’s Be Curious, Together

The painting above is by Mel Johnson, a Chicago artist and New Mexico transplant I discovered when I wandered off the beaten path in the mountain town of Madrid, NM. The playfulness, sense of togetherness, sharing in the beauty and wonder of Nature, savoring the moment are valuable elements of healing.

It serves as a reminder that the “ingredients” to healing and transformation are accessible to each of us and are often simpler than we imagine.

“Awe is a vehicle to quiet our inner critic. Awe is the absence of self-preoccupation.”

- Sharon Salzberg

Therapy

In my work with adults, couples and adolescents, I bring wonder and curiosity, authenticity and compassion to our collaborative therapeutic relationship. Through a humanistic, person-centered foundation, I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory and Polyvagal Theory all within a trauma informed approach. Our work together will create a safe space to explore solutions based on the science and art of psychotherapy.

Whether you’re struggling with relationships, finding purpose, experiencing grief and loss, or just feeling like something isn’t right but you’re not even sure what needs to change, I want to support your quest to improve your wellbeing, and spark what it is that makes you feel most alive.

Additionally, I have an interest in issues around sexuality and intimacy and how they play a part in our overall wellbeing. I am currently pursuing my AASECT certification to become a licensed Sex Therapist.
